I posted this same comment on the photo page. I think this might be a better place for it.
The creators of this web site (Picasso Dreams) are true patriots. The corporate fascists who are ruling and ruining the democracy of the United States are the worst anti-American traitors in history. I believe, based on the overwhelming evidence seen in the fascist corporate media, that we are truly in danger of losing our rights and freedoms (our democracy).
If there were any justice, the corporate leaders of America and their rotten political supporters would be tried for their many illegal and immoral activities. They are ultimately responsible for countless thousands of murders around the world. In addtion, they are creating international slavery.
The goal of the republican party and their sister fascist organizations around the world is to create and maintain world-wide slavery. Only we, as ordinary citizens can fight this evil, here and abroad.
It is better to be dead than to be a slave. How ironic, that the worst international force for enslavement and violence (the republican party)boasts of being a party of liberty. The republican party of the United States is the Biggest Enemy of Freedom on Earth (along with China). Their end-goal is to, first, enslave the vast majority of people in America. Then, they wish to take their new slave-race, and send it around the world to violently force other nations to be slaves for the upper classes in those countries. We see this on a small scale now. It's no coincidence that America is so friendly with China (buys all it's slave product), because it is the largest fascist-slave state in the world.
Americans must take back their country from the corrupt, old, murderous fascists who are ruining it. If they vote for the republican party many more times, I doubt if America will be a democracy. George Bush is trying to change the constitution to take away rights from people. If he succeeds, each right we have will disappear, as the idiots who voted for him will cheer. I wonder if those same idiots will cheer when they are facing the republican firing squad (who don't like thier religion). Don't say we (real Americans) didn't warn you all.

When are all the bush haters leaving? I would really like to know so I can buy airline stocks for the exodis. Everybody talked about leaving, just as in the last election but nobody had the balls except Pierre Salinger of ABC news who did what he said. President Bush won and Kerry lost, Get over it or LEAVE!! You said you would, now lets get going or are you a flip flopper like Kerry? Everything is a conspiracy theory, the biggest conspiracy is what airline has won the behind the scenes negotiation with the liberal left to transport everyone to Canada, North Korea and China.

Just a thought. Put your money where your mouth is!
If you dont like Bush than have some Balls!

Leaving won't solve any of the problems that America faces, Jim, which apparently you seem to know nothing about. I think the real courage is the 49 percent of us that had the guts to say no to Bush, and the few of us who are actively searching for a way to improve the situation.

Randall

Jim--We are right. Therefore we are going to stay and change this country for the better. Iraq never did anything against the USA. We are the invaders. Yes, Saddam was evil. But so is Bush. When are you fascists going to face that obvious reality? Anyone who voted for the republican party is guilty of every one of their war crimes and domestic crimes against our society.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY

"Do you support your country even if what it does is evil?"
"So, what does that make you?"

ANSWER: Three types. Cowards. Or those getting off on the evil. Or those who just don't care.

I am living in Houston, Texas. I'm one of millions of Americans dealing with a sub-text of struggling to make a living in the unhealthy economy. My industry dried up where I was living, so I moved to Houston hoping to resume making a living. It hasn't happened yet.

Everyone I know or meet in the America I know, is primarily occupied with struggling to get back up to the income we were earning in the healthy economy of the 90's.

Meanwhile, American soldiers are occupying another land, destroying property and lives every day. Most of the people are innocent. The ones who are fighting back--well, wouldn't we Americans be doing that, if we were occupied by a foreign army who were killing our friends and families, destroying our homes and businesses?
I love America enough to still believe that we would fight to the death here at home to defend our land. Wouldn't you?

What I'm about to say may be a 'metaphysical' thought, but is there a relationship between the evil we are ignoring, and our individual little 'bad karma' with our economic issues?

Oh yeah. There are some practical reasons for the downturn in the US economy too. Maybe the fact that the treasury has been looted to dump national product into weapons, has a bit to do with it. Maybe the enthusiasm for 'outsourcing' our industries overseas as fast as possible in the name of 'corporate globalization', is a wee factor in the sudden unemployment of millions who had real jobs until a few years ago.

I was glad to see this website, because it's rare right now to find one that seems to give a damn about the poor Iraqis. We're too wrapped up in our own personal problems back home.
And yes, I DO support the troops. They are victims too.
There is nothing wrong with their heroism. They would be heroes, but their bravery and patriotism is being squandered. corrupted. Ordered to kill first and ask questions later. It's a clusterfuck.

The only thing which can 'justify' holding our young men in a situation where killing and being killed is inevitable, with no end to it, will be the expansion of the war. Otherwise, we are wasting lives, time, and precious American resources and treasury. It's a 'lock'. The only choices are withdrawl, or pacification of the entire middle east.

I am NOT a liberal. I don't care if you like Bush, or hate him. I only ask people to use logic, to see where all this is leading. Where this course so far MUST lead. Any suggestions?

I would have been satisfied had the originally billed 'plan' come off as they promised us. A quick overthrow of the Ba'ath party, followed by the enthusiastic welcoming of the Iraqi people, and even the costly rebuilding of a foreign country from the ground up at US taxpayer expense, IF it meant that we really were bringing 'democracy' and a better world to that country.

So look at what we are really doing. Our soldiers are slaughtering a lot of every day people in their own country, who just happen to be caught in the middle. Our brothers and sons are being slaughtered, wounded, and worst of all, internally changed. And they will bring all this poison home to us. Eventually, we will reject them, just as we did our Viet Nam vet brothers and fathers. We don't like long and dirty wars, and the longer we remain silent, gutless about how and why it's being done, the guilt and shame underneath grows in our national character. If you can't feel those, then maybe you just go with getting into the evil.

So where does this war have to go next, in order to 'win'? Anybody got an answer? You be the general, you be the President for a minute. Where must this go for the real and final victory?

What America is doing to Iraq is a thousand times worse than Saddam Hussein every dreamed about doing to anyone! What America is doing to Iraq is worse than any dictator, no matter how vilified, has ever done to any other country!

But if you think America has any remaining shred of decency and honesty in the way it barges around the world, killing innocent people with impunity as it goes, then I have to tell you that in your profound and deliberate ignorance, you are an accessory to mass murder. By your silence and inaction, you are assisting in the daily murders of innocent people.

The reason there was no real effective opposition to going into Iraq, is because of characters like this one spreading their hate. When the mainstream failed to stand up, unfortunately it was clowns like this who were given free rein to speak up.

It makes it too easy to caricature and file away under the "dumbass with no credibility" drawer.

I personally was against going into this whole mess, and am po'd at Bush for lying his way into the war. But the reality was that getting rid of Saddam Hussein was a good thing, by anyone's standards. Most people who were sensible opponents of the war agree.

And now, good number of the people fighting against the U.S., ARE murderers deliberately targeting civilians when they try to vote, go to work, and in general live their daily lives. While some of these fighters, and their civilian supporters are no doubt nationalists, others seem solely interested in fanning inter-ethnic hate, and have no qualms in killing their own civilians.

Yes, U.S. forces have committed atrocities in this nastiness, but to villify them as being 'worse' than the enemy - is wrong and stupid.
