Lies and Deceptions

It's not like I didn't know that the mainstream media is controlled, but it is out of control at The Guardian. Three quarters of the comments I made have been deleted and the rest will be by the end of the day. None of the pro-nuclear shill comments have been removed. I cited proof, including links to EPA documents, yet my comments were removed. Of course, they posted an AP article without a byline, meaning it was written by a shill who is paid to lie to the population.

I am not a violent person, but if I ever meet any of these fake reporters who are lying to the public about the dangers of radiation, my Gandhi approach is history. It's the only way to stop them. They are robots for a dark matrix composed of entities resembling humans, but they have no conscience. Nice emails, irrefutable scientific data, quotes from TEPCO and NOAA and well-researched debate mean nothing. It is unacceptable to lie to the population about an extinction level event, This is far too important to ignore. People in Canada and the US should not be out in the rain, they should not swim in the Pacific Ocean, they should not eat seafood. They shouldn't smoke outdoor weed or anything not grown with a HEPA filter, as cannabis absorbs radiation faster than other plants. One plutonium particle in the lungs and death is inevitable. Enough plutonium blew at Fukushima to kill the planet…and it is. IT"S NOT FAIR! IT"S NOT RIGHT! And very few care or I wouldn't be wasting an afternoon responding to some bullshit piece in The Fucking Appropriately Named Guardian by myself. People need to know what is happening!

I want every single person I know and love to move out of the US, especially away from the Pacific Coast. Right now I have 18 friends and family with cancer. 18! This year I have seen 13 people in my circle of friends (including my online friends) who have died from cancer. This is crazy! 22, 34, 54, 12, 17, 45, 46, 65, 29, 23, 39, 41, 42…these are their ages at death from cancer! And there are a whole slew of people who used to post on sites I read that have disappeared from the internet, so I have to assume it's much higher. One friend is in the US attending the memorial for an uncle that just died form cancer. Everyone I know has a cancer story regarding someone close to them. When I took my mom for chemo, there was a room full of chairs, enough for at least 60 at any given time.

Health care is a negative cost and should reflect negatively in the GNP. Every dollar spent means you are using money just to get healthy so you can lead a healthy, productive life. Bad health reflects negatively on the economy because it is a cost. A real model for economic growth would incorporate health care and the industry as a negative cost. Instead, it is a profit center. It was designed this way. They are deliberately killing us.

Nuclear power plants on fault lines, flood zones, and tsunami-prone tidal waters. Gee, what could happen? Nuclear power plants require more electricity to run than they produce. They were designed for weapons. They must have a constant outside source of electricity for a hundred years after shutdown. There is no place in the world to store waste for a billion years. Who would have eve wanted to create such a thing? The "In God We Trust" motherfuckers who want to use their nuclear toys. I am sick of being told that I have to deal with this because this is a democracy and there are some things that have to be repressed for the national good and all that other bull. It is all a scam and always has been. I don't need some scum bag politician telling me that I don't have a right to know the truth. (Guess you know I would never voter for Hillary!)

When Fukushima blew, the gray-yellow smoke was from plutonium. The background radiation levels in the US today are 800 CPM right now on average. Anything over 50 requires an EPA alert. Obviously the EPA doesn't give a damn about the environment. The whole purpose of the EPA is to prevent drilling, mining and use of public lands that have been deemed collateral for foreign debt.

Under Nixon, the US went of fthe gold standard and said debt would be backed by good faith of the US government. France and a few other countries countries laughed at that farce, so the US government decided that public lands would be used to collateralize debts for FOREIGN bondholders. If the US government defaults on debt, a US citizen with US treasury debt would not be entitled to these assets under law, but foreign bondholders (primarily banks and corporations) would. Ask Argentineans how they feel about this.

You can easily see the direct correlation to the increase in federal land and monuments and the increase in public debt. Remember when BP funded Obama tried to place the Atlantic seashore under federal protection? That followed a rise in the debt ceiling. The EPA was created under Nixon (known for Napalm and Agent Orange, not spiritual ecology) for the purpose of preventing mining, drilling, exploration and development of federal land.

Governments are lying, the media is lying and Fukushima is raging. It's bad enough that there are defenders of nuclear, but Federal Reserve notes have been printed to pay scumbags to lie about it as well. Truth needs no lies to defend it.

VIRTUAL 9-11: Will Israel Hack The US Banking System Computers and Falsely Blame It On Iran?

Netanyahu didn't get any traction at the UN today. Indeed his bomb chart has become an object of ridicule in the alternative media. By now he is throwing a huge tantrum.  He wants his war and Netanyahu is a man used to always getting what he wants.

There are only three things Netanyahu can do now to get the war with Iran going before the Israeli elections next month.

The first is to simply go ahead and attack Iran, expecting that the United States will protect Israel from the counter-attack even if Israel struck the first blow.

The second option is a false-flag attack somewhere in the world to be blamed on Iran, but that is a very chancy option given the video of WIMEA lobbyist Clawson actually selling the idea that a false flag to start the war with Iran is a great idea.

The third and final option, and the one I am starting to think is the most likely, relates to the sudden flurry of media stories and statements by people like Joseph Lieberman about how Iranian hackers are attacking the US financial system computers. (Senator Lieberman has also been pressuring Obama to sign an executive order to take over the internet.) Of course, the common sense approach still applies. Why would Iran, which wishes to avoid a war, do something that provocative.

But we know that the US and Israel are behind the cyber-weapons like STUXNET, DUQU, FLAME, etc., taht these cyber-weapons were directed against Iran, and that one variant specifically targeted banks in Lebanon and Iran. We also know that the US financial system is stretched to the breaking point, and we know that if the government of either Greece of Spain is driven from office by angry protests, credit default swaps sold by Wall Street against those debts come due, and there is no money to pay the claims. The Euro might even collapse, and that would trigger even more Credit Default Swaps. So the final option, one that strikes me as very likely, is that Israel will take down the US financial computers, and blame it on Iran. This also gets Wall Street and Washington DC off the hook, because now the financial melt-down is an act of war, rather than the result of decades of Wall Street crime and corruption and the predations of Private Central Banks. US banks have already been hit with cyber attacks over the last two weeks, to set the stage. And this would also explain why the US corporate media has paid scant attention to the riots in Spain and Greece so that Americans still dependent on ABCNNBBCBS will remain oblivious to the fact that the Euro is falling apart.

This scenario also explains the testing of means to interfere with DNS to silence websites that may offer opposing interpretations of events (this too will be blamed on Iran).

Such a cyber false-flag also gives the US Government the excuse to take total control of the internet so that those pesky truth-seeking bloggers don't give the slaves uppity ideas that this is just another war-starting hoax like the attack on the USS Liberty or 9-11.

PLEASE REPOST THIS THEORY TO YOUR SOCIAL NETWORKS. If we can make them doubt that the official story of a financial system computer crash will be believed by the public, we can get them to call it off! If the bank computers and alternative media do crash, the US/Israel did it!

Between the possibility of a false-flag hack attack, or the collapse of the Eurozone, or just the continuing fraud by the US financial system, you should only have as much money in the banks as is needed to cover your outstanding obligations, and you should have the rest of your money under your own personal control in case those bank doors do not open and the ATMs stop working.

The Federal Reserve, a Privately Owned Banking Cartel, Has Been Given Police Powers, with Glock 22s and Patrol Cars

September 18, 2012

Source: Alternet

By mid morning on Monday, September 17, as Occupy Wall Street protesters marched around the perimeter of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, all signs that an FRPD (Federal Reserve Police Department) existed had disappeared. The FRPD patrol cars and law enforcement officers had been replaced by NYPD patrol cars and officers. That decision may have been made to keep from drawing attention to a mushrooming new domestic police force that most Americans do not know exists.

Quietly, without fanfare or Congressional hearings, the USA Patriot Act in 2001 bestowed on the 12 privately owned Federal Reserve Banks, domestic policing powers.

Section 364 of the Act, “Uniform Protection Authority for Federal Reserve,” reads: “Law enforcement officers designated or authorized by the Board or a reserve bank under paragraph (1) or (2) are authorized while on duty to carry firearms and make arrests without warrants for any offense against the United States committed in their presence…Such officers shall have access to law enforcement information that may be necessary for the protection of the property or personnel of the Board or a reserve bank.”

The police officers are technically known as FRLEO, short for Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officer. The system has its own police academies for training, their own patch and badges, uniforms, pistols, rifles, police cars and the power to arrest coast to coast without a warrant. They have ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain and a recruitment ad campaign with the slogan: “It’s about respect and recognition from your peers. It’s you.”

According to a former St. Louis Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Training Instructor, the officers are trained on pistol, rifle, auto-rifle, sub-gun and shotgun with manufacturers encompassing Smith & Wesson, Glock, Remington and Armalite.

The FRLEOs employed by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C. are considered employees of the Federal government since the Board is a government entity. Each of the 12 Federal Reserve Banks, as settled law under Lewis v. United States confirms, is a private corporation owned by commercial banks in its region. An email to several of the Federal Reserve Banks confirmed that they regard their FRLEOs to be privately employed by the bank.

The San Francisco Fed ran an ad for Captain Specialist, noting that “you will be charged with gathering and disseminating law enforcement intelligence information to the District.” It also noted that the individual would need to “obtain and maintain top secret clearance.” Typically, that clearance level is reserved for only the highest positions in the Federal government.

A recruitment ad for the Richmond Fed indicates their FRLEOs would be plugged into the nation’s criminal databases: “The Law Enforcement Unit has an immediate opening for a Communications Center Operator, reporting to the Center leadership team in Richmond, Virginia. The pay is $32,458 — $40,573…[the officer will query] “information from a variety of law enforcement data bases for information, wants/warrants, intelligence, driver’s license and vehicle information, etc.” The Cleveland Fed notes that the job “may include, but would not be limited to: use of deadly or non-lethal force…”

FRLEOs now even have their own Federal Reserve Policemen’s Benevolent Association, Local 385. The group’s Facebook page [3] carries the statement that it is a “government organization.” The site says the group “was established to create a fraternal organization for its membership and to act on behalf of the members as a liaison between the New Jersey State PBA and all other police agencies within the state and the country.” The connection to New Jersey likely stems from a now deceased police officer, James Rose, from Moonachie, New Jersey, who was a FRLEO in New York and helped to establish Local 385. In addition, the Regional office of the New York Fed is located in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

In addition to regular policing functions, the Federal Reserve police have been observed in airports with rifles, functioning as dignitary protection teams. Various recruitment ads confirm that this is sometimes part of the job.

The Federal Reserve Building up for sale at 301 Rosa L. Parks Avenue in Nashville has this slogan engraved on the building: “Federal Reserve System Through Which Our Banks and Government Join Hands to Further the Enduring Prosperity of American Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.” Buttressing the private nature of the Federal Reserve Banks, the Maiden Lane building that the Occupy Wall Street protesters were swarming around this morning, chanting “F*** the Fed,” was purchased on February 28, 2012 by the New York Fed, which had previously been leasing the building. According to the press release the “Federal Reserve Bank of New York (New York Fed) today announced that it has acquired the building at 33 Maiden Lane for $207.5 million from Merit US Real Estate Fund III, L.P. and established a new, wholly owned limited liability company called Maiden & Nassau LLC to serve as owner of the building.”

There is nothing in that motto that shows a concern for the average American. And that’s the problem inherent in the continuing venting of anger against Wall Street banks and their perceived crony patrons at the Fed who gave them trillions of dollars in low-cost bailout loans and then fought a court battle to keep the loans a secret. That domestic policing functions have now been added to the mix can only create more suspicions and hostility.

There is also the obvious question as to why the expense, training and potential liability of armed police would be necessary when all of the Federal Reserve Banks are in cities with large municipal police forces. With private bankers sitting on the Boards of each of these Reserve Banks, many of whom are officers of banks under criminal investigation, there is the serious need for Congressional investigation into how the Nation’s criminal databases are being used by the private sector as well as the further chilling of protest and dissent from another new sheriff in town.

Gerald Celente and 2012: The Good, Really Bad And Very Ugly

Celente - The Good, Really Bad And Very Ugly

KINGSTON, NY, 11 January 2012 - Are you ready for a 2012 that will be "Good" for the well-prepared, really "Bad" for wishful thinkers, and very "Ugly" for the see-nothings and do-nothings those with their heads in the sand who blindly trust their leaders?

A few weeks ago we sent you a recap of the Trends Journal's "Top Trends 2011" forecasts. There is very little in today's headline news that was not in last year's Trends Journal forecasts.

The newly released Top 12 Trends 2012 cuts through the hype, confusion and political baloney. This Trends Journal provides directions for navigating through the turmoil along with practical advice on how to capitalize on the positive trends-in-the-making we have identified. Top 12 Trends 2012 runs the gamut from "Economic Martial Law" to "Safe Havens" to "Going Out in Style."

1. Economic Martial Law: Given the current economic and geopolitical conditions, the central banks and world governments already have plans in place to declare Economic Martial Law with the possibility of military martial law to follow.

2. Battlefield America: With a stroke of the Presidential pen, language was removed from an earlier version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), granting el Presidente authority to act as judge, jury and executioner. Citizens, welcome to "Battlefield America."

3. Invasion of the Occtupy: 15 years ago, Gerald Celente predicted in his book Trends 2000 that prolonged protests would hit Wall Street in the early years of the new millennium and would spread nationwide. The "Occtupy" is now upon us, and it is like nothing history has ever witnessed.

4. Climax Time: The financial house of cards is collapsing. In 2012, many of the long-simmering socioeconomic and geopolitical trends that Gerald Celente has been accurately forecasting will come to a climax. Some will arrive with a big bang and others less dramatically but no less consequentially. What's next for the world? Are you prepared?

5. Technocrat Takeover: "Democracy is Dead; Long Live the Technocrat!" A pair of financial coup d'états in Greece and Italy have installed two unelected figures as head of state. No one yet in the mainstream media is calling this merger of state and corporate powers by its proper name: Fascism, nor are they calling these "technocrats" by their proper name: Bankers! Can a rudderless ship be saved because a technocrat is at the helm?

6. Repatriate! Repatriate!: It took a small, but financially and politically powerful group to sell the world on globalization, and it will take a large, committed and coordinated citizens' movement to "un-sell" it. The "Repatriate! Repatriate!" trend will pit the creative instincts of a multitude of individuals against the repressive monopoly of the multinationals.

7. Secession Obsession: Winds of political change are blowing from Tunisia to Russia and everywhere in between, opening a window of opportunity through which previously unimaginable political options may now be considered: radical decentralization, Internet-based direct democracy, secession, and even the peaceful dissolution of nations (a "Genteel Revolution"), offering the possibility for a new world "disorder."

8. Safe Havens: As the signs of imminent economic and social collapse become more pronounced, legions of New Millennium Survivalists are, or will be, thinking about looking for ways to escape the resulting turmoil. The "on-trend" have already taken measure to implement Gerald Celente's 3Gs: Gold, Guns and a Getaway plan. Where to go? What to do? "Safe Havens" will guide the way.

9. Big Brother Internet: The coming year will be the beginning of the end of Internet Freedom: a battle between the governments and the people. We predict in 2012 governments will propose legislation requiring Internet users to present the equivalent of a driver's license and/or bill of health to navigate cyberspace. For the general population it will represent yet another curtailing of freedom and level of governmental control.

10. Direct vs. Faux Democracy: In every corner of the world, a restive populace has made it clear that it's disgusted with "politics as usual" and is looking for change. Government, in all its forms democracy, autocracy, monarchy, socialism, communism just isn't working. The only viable solution we foresee is to take the vote out of the hands of party politicians and institute Direct Democracy. If the Swiss can do it, why can't anyone else?

11. Energy 2012: After decades of lofty promises and trillions spent to bring clean, cost effective, sustainable alternative energy to market, the bright future envisaged has not lived up to expectations. In the near-term future, we'll be relying on conventional energy sources that now are undergoing their own technological transformations. We identify them in the Trends Journal.

12. Going Out in Style: In the bleak terrain of 2012 and beyond, "Affordable Sophistication" will direct and inspire products, fashion, music, the fine arts and entertainment at all levels. US businesses would be wise to wake up and tap into the dormant desire for old time quality and the America that was.
The future need not be all gloom and doom, nor need it be futile fantasy.

Bank of America: Squeezing Money from a Corpse

Author Unknown

 Dear Bank of America,

My husband died on May 12, 2010. You know this because I dutifully informed you shortly after he died. And you so generously told me that since he was such a valued customer, and you sure were going to miss his business, that I, lucky widow that I am, could take over the outstanding balance on his credit cards and pay you those thousands of dollars you won't be able to squeeze out of his dead corpse. So kind of you.

But your kindness didn't end there. Oh no. Because despite those oh-so-enjoyable conversations and exchanging of documents, his death somehow didn't make it into the right databases. Apparently, I failed to personally inform each and every Bank of America employee of his demise, failed to personally deliver a certified copy of his death certificate to your each and every branch, failed to make it clear that he was, like, really dead and isn't coming back, so no, he will never be available to sign any of your forms.

My bad, Bank of America. I'm so sorry for my failure.

But your thoughtfulness knows no bounds, Bank of America, so you make sure we have the same conversation each time I need to make a deposit or withdrawal or get a copy of a statement. Every transaction from his trust account must be made in person because of course your policy is to make sure that widows who deal with their husbands' trust accounts can't just do it online, like all of your other banking. Nope, widows must come into the bank each time, must sit down with you each time, must show you the death certificate each time, must tell you the story of his death—the date, the location, the status of our marriage, the color socks he was wearing at the time—each and every time.

And each and every time, you assure me that you're so sorry and you'll be sure to make a note on the account and enter the information into the system so that I won't have to collapse in tears in the middle of your bank the next time I have business to do. You promise. Pinky swear. Here, have a tissue.

Until, of course, your policies change again and you need to see the death certificate again and make another copy, but this time will be the last time.

Really, Bank of America, it's so thoughtful of you to ensure that banking transactions are so time-consuming and personal. You see, I have so many tasks and obligations as his widow, but these little exchanges you insist we have really help add some excitement to the otherwise monotonous grieving process.

But that's not all. Oh no. Because despite the dozens of conversations we've had wherein I explain to you—again—that he can't sign that form you need him to sign on account of him being dead, you felt that his death was no excuse for him not paying monthly fees on his old checking account you were supposed to have closed a year ago. You can imagine my surprise when I received a notice that my dead husband owed you, Bank of America, hundreds of dollars in overdraft fees because you'd been helping yourself to his money, a month at a time, until the account was emptied and then overdrawn.

Is this because I declined your generous offer to pay off his credit card? Is it because you knew I had better things to do than check to make sure that account you said you'd closed was actually, you know, closed? I guess I can't blame you for trying to squeeze every last penny out of his corpse. After all, Bank of America, your CEO did tell us last year that you have a right to make a profit. Even off a dead guy.

I really have to thank you, Bank of America, for today's little exchange. See, silly me, I thought I could just walk into the bank and make a deposit into my account of a check made out to both me and my husband. My bad, I know. Because of course you need his signature as well. You couldn't possibly allow me to rip off my dead husband. I understand, you're just looking out for his best interests, making sure I'm not swindling his corpse out of that $100 I naively thought I could deposit. After all, you really valued him as a customer.

You made the same promises and assurances to me that you always do, offered with the same insincere apologies. Oh, you're so sorry for my loss. You're so sorry to have to ask me these questions for the eleventy billionth time. You'll be sure to make a note on the account that my husband's signature should not be required for any further transactions, on account of how dead people have a hell of a time signing their name. But you mean it this time, right? You promise? Pinky swear?

I'm sure you'll be heartbroken to know, Bank of America, that this whole sordid probate business is coming to completion, and that account will be closed and emptied soon. So we won't have this quality time together much longer, wherein you tell me you can't possibly process my money without hearing the whole story of my husband's death—again. And reviewing all the paperwork—again. And then letting me know just how sorry you are for this loss we share—for me, the loss of my husband, and for you, more importantly, the loss of such a customer who was so valuable to you until he stopped paying you those monthly fees on account of being, you know, dead.

Believe me, Bank of America, I'm counting down the days until our relationship comes to a close. I know it must be hard for you. Allow me to offer you my condolences. Here, have a tissue. It's the least I can do to help you through this difficult process.

Just one more thing, Bank of America, and I mean this from the bottom of my grieving widow's heart:
Fuck you. No, seriously, fuck you.

Most sincerely,

One really pissed off widow

FEMA National Continuity Program

I received an email from Before It's News entitled "FEMA Pulls Document on the Coming Lockdown"  that came about after Alex Jones brought attention to the National  Continuity Programs (NCP) Program and Mission Support Services (PAMISS) report, something that the folks at FEMA wished to hide, so they classified it.   Hmmm.  I wonder what's about to disappear down the memory hole?  Folks, the financial collapse is real and governments cannot be more in your face about their objectives: genocide and  total population control.  The irony is that many of  the soldiers for the NWO  (the blatant militarization of the US police force) will die from Fukushima fallout.  Sometimes I believe that David Icke is right and these people are reptilians that can survive nuclear fallout - just like cockroaches.  If these fraudulently elected marks and their johns really cared about the earth as the  the inbred self-proclaimed noble rulers like to claim, surely they wouldn't want to wage nuclear war, would they?  And certainly they would want every resource devoted to dealing with the fallout from Fukushima, right?

"What do you mean, Fukushima?  Isn't that, like, over?"

I digress.  Here is the Before It's News article, followed by the .jpgs of the FEMA document.

Alex Jones discovered an incriminating document on a U.S. government site. Within an hour, it was pulled. But he got an image of it.

This is part of COG: continuity of government. These plans have been circulating for at least 40 years. Once in a while, one of them surfaces. This is a juicy one.

There is nothing in the Constitution outlining the ability of the government to operate a Continuity of Government program outside of the scope of a.) the Constitution and b.) Congress.  That this document exists indicates treason at the highest levels of government.  This document cannot be classified simply because it exposes the treasons of the crafters.  No, it must be spread far and wide and that's why I am posting it here.   This is what the present US government has in store for its citizens.

We have inalienable human rights.  We have the right to exist on this planet regardless of imaginary lines in the sand.  We have the right to speak, to feed ourselves, and to live on the land.  Governments do not grant those rights.

You choose the one you feed.  Which will it be?  Will you be a slave or a free person?

Imperialist dreams

“We have about 50 per cent of the world’s wealth, but only 6.3 per cent of its population… Our real task in the coming period is to maintain this position of disparity… To do so we will have to dispense with all sentimentality and day-dreaming… We need not deceive ourselves that we can afford the luxury of altruism… We should cease to talk about vague, unreal objectives such as human rights, the raising of living standards, and democratization. The day is not far off when we will have to deal in straight power concepts.”  -- George Kennan, February, 1948

Scandal du jour: The Ten Worst Corporate Tax Avoiders

In the end, no corporation actually pays taxes, as the taxes are embedded into cost of the product paid for by the end consumer of the product or service.

...

Exxon Mobil, Bank of America, GE and other giant corporations paid no U.S. taxes despite billions in profits. In fact, they pocketed big IRS refunds.  It's a scandal, Sen. Bernie Sanders told colleagues on Wednesday. As congressional leaders and the White House haggled over how many billions of dollars to cut spending on programs for working families, Bernie tried to broaden the debate. He compiled a top-10 list of tax-dodging corporations. "Maybe we have to reduce that deficit not simply on the backs of working families, low-income people, the children, the sick, the elderly. Maybe, maybe we might want to call for shared sacrifice. Maybe Exxon-Mobil and some of the large oil companies might be asked to pay something in taxes."

Sen. Sanders' 10 worst corporate income tax avoiders.

1)      Exxon Mobil made $19 billion in profits in 2009.  Exxon not only paid no federal income taxes, it actually received a $156 million rebate from the IRS, according to its SEC filings.  (Source: Exxon Mobil's 2009 shareholder report filed with the SEC here.)

2)      Bank of America received a $1.9 billion tax refund from the IRS last year, although it made $4.4 billion in profits and received a bailout from the Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department of nearly $1 trillion. (Source: Forbes.com here, ProPublica here and Treasuryhere.)

3)      Over the past five years, while General Electric made $26 billion in profits in the United States, it received a $4.1 billion refund from the IRS. (Source: Citizens for Tax Justice here and The New York Times here.  Note: despite rumors to the contrary, the Times has stood by its story.)

4)      Chevron received a $19 million refund from the IRS last year after it made $10 billion in profits in 2009.  (Source: See 2009 Chevron annual report here.  Note 15 on page FS-46 of this report shows a U.S. federal income tax liability of $128 million, but that it was able to defer $147 million for a U.S. federal income tax liability of $-19 million)

5)      Boeing, which received a $30 billion contract from the Pentagon to build 179 airborne tankers, got a $124 million refund from the IRS last year. .  (Source: Paul Buchheit, professor, DePaul University, here and Citizens for Tax Justice here.)

6)      Valero Energy, the 25th largest company in America with $68 billion in sales last year received a $157 million tax refund check from the IRS and, over the past three years, it received a $134 million tax break from the oil and gas manufacturing tax deduction. (Source: the company's 2009 annual report, pg. 112, here.)

7)      Goldman Sachs in 2008 only paid 1.1 percent of its income in taxes even though it earned a profit of $2.3 billion and received an almost $800 billion from the Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury Department.  (Source: Bloomberg News here, ProPublica here, Treasury Department here.)

8)      Citigroup last year made more than $4 billion in profits but paid no federal income taxes. It received a $2.5 trillion bailout from the Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury. (Source: Paul Buchheit, professor, DePaul University, here, ProPublica here, Treasury Department here.)

9)      ConocoPhillips, the fifth largest oil company in the United States, made $16 billion in profits from 2006 through 2009, but received $451 million in tax breaks through the oil and gas manufacturing deduction.  (Sources: Profits can be found here.  The deduction can be found on the company's 2010 SEC 10-K report to shareholders on 2009 finances, pg. 127,here)

“The few who can understand the system (check money and credits, will either be so interested in it’s profits, or so dependent on its favors, that there will be no oppositions from that class, while on the other hand, the great body of the people mentally incapable of comprehending the tremendous advantage that capital derives from the system, will bear its burdens without complaint, and perhaps without even suspecting that the system is inimical to their interests.” --

H.R. 1135 - Strikers Denied Food Stamps

Forty-two million Americans use food stamps, something at odds with the "the economy is in recovery" bloviations from Ben Bernanke, Tim Geithner, the financial media, and all the sycophants that do their bidding.  Okay, if you consider that there were 600,000 new millionaires added last year (mostly due to stock market increased thanks to those fine folks at Goldman Sachs who control the smoke and mirrors), that might look promising, until you see that 5,000,000 more people were added to the Food Stamp rolls.  There is a correlation - more wealth requires more poverty.  There is a tipping point when the number of people needing financial and food assistance exceeds the government’s ability or willingness to help those in need.  The majority of these people were once contributing much of their hard earned wages to a system that, according to the PR machine, helps to ensure that no American goes to bed hungry.  Now they need help but there is no middle class able or willing to ante up sufficient dinero to pay for social services and the Nobel Peace Prize-winning President's penchant for war, torture, and tyranny.   Since the insanely wealthy pay little or any taxes and anyone who suggests the insanely wealthy pay their fair share of taxes is burned at the stake, we have a conundrum.  There are not enough working stiffs to pay into the system.  Someone has to pay taxes and it will not be the uber-wealthy.  At this point the Federal government must cut the budget.  Obviously the Peace President is not going to stop waging war, so the only alternative is to cut social services like Food Stamps.  What’s next, Congressional salaries?  Hell, no!  The problem is that Congress sees those in need of assistance as competition for the smaller and smaller chunk of revenue being sent in by taxpayers.  A few desperate boy geniuses in the House of Representatives have come up with a grand plan to satisfy both their greed and their penile insecurities by ratcheting up the level of subjugation of their constituency.

If you want to strike, forget about feeding your family.  These insipid little parasite have slipped in a clause or two that bans food stamps to entire families if one member goes on strike and loses his job (and thus income) from the strike.  This can be found in H.R. 1135: Welfare Reform Act of 2011 - To provide information on total spending on means-tested welfare programs, to provide additional work requirements, and to provide an overall spending limit on means-tested welfare programs.

  • `(2) STRIKE AGAINST A GOVERNMENT- For the purpose of subparagraph (A)(iv), an employee of the Federal Government, a State, or a political subdivision of a State, who is dismissed for participating in a strike against the Federal Government, the State, or the political subdivision of the State shall be considered to have voluntarily quit without good cause.
  • `(3) STRIKING WORKERS INELIGIBLE- Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no member of a family unit shall participate in the food stamp program at any time that any able-bodied work eligible adult member of such household is on strike as defined in the Labor Management Relations Act, 1947 (29 U.S.C. 142(2)), because of a labor dispute (other than a lockout) as defined in section 2(9) of the National Labor Relations Act (29 U.S.C. 152(9)): Provided, That a family unit shall not lose its eligibility to participate in the food stamp program as a result of one of its members going on strike if the household was eligible immediately prior to such strike, however, such family unit shall not receive an increased allotment as the result of a decrease in the income of the striking member or members of the household: Provided further, That such ineligibility shall not apply to any family unit that does not contain a member on strike, if any of its members refuses to accept employment at a plant or site because of a strike or lockout.'.

The bill also disqualifies someone from receiving food stamps if they quit their job.  You might have a boss who is so demoralizing that you cannot be in his or her presence without wanting to commit an act of Hari Kari or work in a field that could be physically dangerous to an unborn child or any number of reasons to leave voluntarily a job to join the ranks of the poor and unemployed, but don’t expect Food Stamps.

The disconnect in Washington, D.C. is incredible.  I keep thinking about Gerald Celente’s prognostications and Clif High and the webbot project results, angry mobs of people surrounding expensive cars.  It's like a scene from India after a car accident.  People will revolt.  It will happen and all the money and political power in the world is not going to save the parasite from a hungry, angry mob.
